this is the private digital download for purchasers of Bonus Spells: Issue 0. the music contained on the cassette was written and recorded at different times in the last year. black diamond was written on a piano and a BOSS DB-90. daniel played piano, and jimmie ran the metronome through an amp. have you ever been in love was written on a piano in various rooms in their house in nashville over the course of 6 months. it took many hours to finish, and was completed in the studio, thanks to paul lani. repose was written in front of live mics at castle studio when jimmie was supposed to be recording a guitar part on a different song. they turned on the mic without him knowing, and recorded guitar and vocal live. dan mcmahon added additional guitar later.
